For information on how to join our team, go to our Staff Recruitment page.

We pride ourselves at Llain on our team of instructors and domestic staff. Together we can provide professional, safe, exciting new experiences for all without losing that personal touch. We like to think of staff as family members who work as a team to provide outdoor activities of he highest quality.

Llain Activity Centre has been owned and run for the last ten years by Nancy and Keith Thomas. Along with daughter Delyn, they have built Llain into the friendly, sucessful activity centre that it is today.

They are constantly aware of the need to employ reliable, conscientious who are able to adapt to any situation that they may find themselves in. It is essential that they are able to communicate with a whole variety of customers from the primary schools to the adult clients.

TEACHING STAFF

The centre has a residential fulltime staff of up to 15 all of whom have been carefully chosen. Along with these staff members we have a select group of freelance instructors many of whom have worked with us for over five years. These staff have individual knowledge of the local area and the surrounding environment.

All staff have undergone induction and training at Llain in addition to their NGB qualifications. Llain has a policy to continually train and assess its staff and promote both personal and professional development.
