Staff Winter Meet Feb 2010 & A Staff Day Out in Aug 2009 to Oakwood Theme Park

We require talented, energetic, friendly and enthusiastic people to join our team. You will need to enjoy working with clients of all ages, have lots of energy and initiative and have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

We are a family run centre providing multi activity courses for all ages. Clients include schools, colleges, youth groups, families and businesses.

We recruit a wide range of individuals as long as you have a current first aid certificate you may be a potential member of Llain staff. Some of our most talented staff over the years have had very few qualifications but just had that knack in bringing out the best in clients & giving them a personal, high-quality experience.

Other qualifications that we look for are:

  • SPA Training & above
  • BCU Kayak level 1 Coach & above
  • GNAS Archery
  • BELA/ WGL/MLTB Summer Training.

The length of contract varies from a few weeks to 8 months depending on your availability.

Professional development is encouraged and staff are given the opportunity to progress in their chosen fields. In the past couple of years staff have successfully completed G.N.A.S. Archery Leader, RYA Qualifications, ML Training & Assessment, BCU star tests, Level 1, 2 & 3 BCU Coaching Qualifications, Swiftwater Rescue & S.P.A Awards.

Staff work a 5-day week and so have time to head of and further their own outdoor experiences.
Most staff live on-site and are accommodated in a range of single or twin rooms with meals provided. We have a well appointed staff room, shower block and parking facilities. Free wi-fi is provided for staff use.

Situated in the coastal section of mid Wales we are close to hills, mountains, rivers and surf. In an hour you can be in Snowdonia, The Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coastline.

Locally we have a wonderful unspoilt coastline for sea kayaking trips, sailing and coastal walks. We Kayak and sail in Cardigan Bay and regularly see the resident Bottlenose Dolphin population along with seals and other wildlife during trips.
