Adult Courses

Set amidst the beautiful countryside of mid Wales, Llain Activity Centre provides the ideal location for a multi activity break for you and your friends.

We can offer residential activity courses for all ages. Adult groups can undertake the whole range of activities that we do at Llain.

We can cater the activities to the age, needs and abilities of your group as well as injecting the element of team building, co-operation and fun.

Llain is committed to providing a first rate product with a service to match. We pride ourselves on the high quality of our food, staff and activity program. We will endeavour to match your programme to the specific needs of your group.

Some Examples of Activities

Canoeing & Kayaking - From basic fun sessions on the lake learning strokes to a trip down the coast to Bird Rock. Paddle with the seals and dolphins and even experience the unspoilt coastline of West Wales.

Problem Solving & Team Building - A large array of taxing team building challenges designed to develop co-operation and confidence

Climbing & Abseiling - This takes place on our purpose built tower within the centre grounds. The four-sided tower challenges all abilities

Walking - Taking in the beautiful coastal paths running along the edge of Cardigan Bay. Towering cliffs, sheltered bays and the chance to see an abundance of wildlife.

Accommodation

There are several different types of accommodation available depending on size of group and availability.

All rooms are basic but clean and warm. Facilities for tea and coffee are available in all accommodation. Linen is not provided in basic chalets and bunkhouse. Towels are not provided.

Food

Food is served in our dining room which is a converted barn. Food is home cooked and freshly prepared using local produce. Portions are generous and even the largest appetite can be filled. All diets can be catered for if we are notified before you arrive. We have a professional , qualified catering manager who has had many years of experience specifically catering for those who enjoy the outdoors and especially those who enjoy their food.

There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants in the local towns of New Quay and Aberaeron which lie approximately 2 and 4 miles from the centre respectively.
